Attchment of lenses onto the lenses holder (B)
When professionally mounted by an optician, the lenses withstand a minimum pressure of 5 N before detaching from the lens holder. This complies with the standard CEN EN ISO 12870:2009 – Ophthalmic optics, spectacle frames, requirements and test methods (ISO 12870:2004).
Our i-RIDE helmet goggles have been successfully tested at 7 N.
Handling
- First attach the goggles, then put on your helmet—this prevents damage or incorrect positioning.
- Important for flip-up helmets when opening the chin bar, the lenses must be folded back.
- Do not remove the goggles while riding—just like with any other accessory, stop the bike before making adjustments.
- Clean the lenses regularly to maintain clear vision. Rinse them, wash gently with mild soap, dry with a soft cloth, and check the magnets regularly.
Spare Parts
- Lenses and clips are available in our shop
- Small parts such as screws or magnets are provided free of charge.
